World's worst babysitter

More of the same today. I thought Dominic would be more used to us after yesterday, but no dice. In fact, he even got screamy during walks this time...which I discovered inside the library, doh!

Yesterday I brought both babies to a playgroup and that seemed to distract Dom from his worries (plus, the other moms took turns holidng him and that let me pay a little attention to Brandt) so we tried that strategy again and hit a playdate at TJ's.

Brandt was awesome and slithered around on his own the whole time so I could hold and comfort Dom (and again the other moms helped with him, too). Brandt's independence earned him a cut on the forehead, but that didn't slow him down at all. He was way more interested in the dog toys than the baby toys and that's what he and TJ are sharing in the photo. Silly boys.

We are so glad our babysitting career has come to an end. Brandt was a very sympathetic co-babysitter and cried every time Dominic cried. Needless to say, he's cried more in the last two days than he has in his whole life.
