It's not easy being green
Our garage is being overrun by recycling. Proof: the pile of bikes is dwarfed by the pile of recycling. We've got broken down boxes from the wedding, the move, and the baby--that's a lot of boxes. This city surprisingly *does* have a recycling program, but I always forget to put out the bins and since it's the same day as trash day, I worry that if I set everything out, the trash guys will assume the overflow is for them.

I see the irony in driving 20 miles to North Las Vegas to the recycling plant, but I'm worried the pile is going to crowd my car out of the garage soon. We combined trips, but by getting gas on the way home, so that didn't feel particularly green. And we were nearly sideswiped by a Wal-Mart semi (the way people drive in this city!) shortly after leaving the recycling plant, which would have been the antithesis of green.
I wasn't able to fit everything in the car, but I put a pretty good dent in it. Hopefully Dan will be impressed when he gets home from Louisiana tomorrow night.
