Day 26: Mobile mouse

Ready...set...go!

Brandt is majorly on the move these days! We were promised a little blob that would spend the first three months doing nothing but eating and sleeping so we're unprepared for the pseudo-crawling.

I like to set Brandt on the bathroom floor while I shower so he can partake of the steam (it is so incredibly dry here!) and today I opted to set him on his tummy. (There's a glass door on the shower so I can watch him the whole time.) Before I was half done with my shower he had scooted the entire length of the 36 inch pad and onto the bare floor. I hopped out and put him back at the far edge of the mat, but from now on he might have to go back to suffering through naked-baby-steam-room-time on his back (the mouse doesn't like being on his back when he's awake) and risk peeing on himself.

We ran into the chiropractor this evening at the monthy Birthyear Network meeting and she commented on how muscle-y his little legs are. Woo hoo...future Tour de France winner big time. He also likes to grip my finger with his toes, but I don't know how that will help him in the future.
