Day 4: Baby's first day out

Someone's got a tight little sacrum!
First of all, I changed my first diaper today! But since Dan is so good at it, he'll probably stay the main diaper changer while he's home from work. Plus, I conveniently have to pee every time Brandt needs a change so it just seems to be the best system all around :)

Checking for a straight spine
Brandt was much happier last night and this morning so I thought we ought to give leaving the house a try. I wanted to take him to the chiropractor to make sure everything is lined up correctly. I attribute seeing the chiropractor in San Diego routinely throughout my pregnancy keeping me feeling so normal. Although then it's also to blame for my constantly forgetting about my prodruding belly and knocking full cups of water off the counter. So there is something to be said for bad posture and an aching back...it keeps one from dousing the remote controls and phone all the time.

All done!
And don't worry--there's no loud crack when babies are adjusted. It's more like a little massage. Plus, I found a chiropractor who specializes in pregnant chicks and babies as soon as I moved out here so she knows what she's doing. She adjusted her own baby from day one, but Brandt is her youngest official patient.
