Day 3: Milk go in the mouth, milk come out the mouth

Dan won't let me post the adorable naked picture of Brandt so this is what you get. Hair brushing will start tomorrow.

Today was not a happy day for baby Brandt! Yesterday he decided he doesn't like sneezes or burps and made a grumpy face after each one, but today he added spit up to his list of dislikes. Oh, and he doesn't like diaper changes anymore, either.

Fortunately, we (and when I say "we" I mean "Dan"--I haven't changed one diaper yet!) were already used to getting pee all over every unmarred item of clothing during diaper changes so we're not adding extra reclothing steps to the process, just adding new ingredients to the laundry.

In good news, since Marvelys cut his nails yesterday (we're too scared to do it ourselves just yet...and the other midwife, Jill, cut his nails on Sunday) he had his first day without scratches on his face.
