Day 1: Sir Snooze-a-lot Junior

Rare moment of wakefulness today

Today was surpris- ingly easy. We can't tell who Brandt looks like yet, but he definitely takes after his father in the snooziness depart- ment.

Even though he proved he's a fine nurser last night (at only 29 minutes old, smart little devil!), he was much more interested in sleeping all day. Dan was worried by the lack of nursing, but I have been well trained over the last five years to "don't poke the bear" so Brandt got to catch up on his rest.

And at 10:30 p.m. he decided he'd had enough beauty sleep and snacked for a few hours.
